LISTED AS ONE OF THE "BEST FARMERS MARKETS" IN THE DALLAS AREA
 

Rockwall Farmers Market was established in 2008 by the Friends of Downtown and has been a Saturday morning staple ever since. The market has long benefited from the dedication of volunteers and community partners and, with assistance from the City of Rockwall and Rockwall County, has grown to over 45 vendors per season.

It has become one of the area’s most popular destinations for locals to purchase fresh produce and specialty foods such as grass-fed meats, fresh baked artisan pastries, seafood, honey, jams, pasta, and tamales, to name just a few. The market also features local talent, providing live music at each market.

Rockwall Farmers Market is a seasonal farmers market open Saturday mornings from the beginning of May through the end of September, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The market is located on Rockwall’s historic downtown square and is pet friendly. For the comfort and safety of all visitors, pets should be well-behaved and kept under control at all times.

The vision for the Rockwall Farmers Market is an effort to establish a link between vendors and consumers. To offer the community high quality agricultural goods from local growers, ranchers, as well as provide gourmet artisan foods. The market connects small business owners to the local community, where relationships develop, community comes together, all while providing a trusted, safe and welcoming environment.

 

Through the support of our vendors and patrons, our hope is to continue giving back to the community through yearly contributions towards local non-profit organizations, which in turn greatly enhances the City of Rockwall and Rockwall County.
